Dynamic Response of Parallel Overlapped Tunnel under Seismic Loading by Shaking Table Tests

Potential earthquake-induced damage to overlapped tunnels probably occurs during the operation and maintenance of mountain tunnel engineering, especially in seismically active zone. This study investigated dynamic response failure characteristics parallel under seismic loadings by employing shaking table tests. The mode was analyzed through macroscopic test phenomena. responses surrounding rock lining were evaluated acceleration strain, respectively. In particular, wavelet packets used investigate spectrum structure depth. process model can be divided into three stages. upper-span under-crossing showed different characteristics. Additionally, on outer surface mainly occurred right side arch waist left wall, whereas inner appeared crown invert. Wavelet packet energy results that characteristic distributions not consistent. Specifically, eigenvalues invert largest, which should considered weak parts design.
